Individual compass

This is self-evaluation tool for leaders. What we encourage you to do is to write your own diary. This way it will become a story of your progress - you can mark your milestones, successes and conclusions here. The important thing is to do it systematically so you can keep it as clear and measurable as possible. You can reuse it as many times as you want and need. Also, keep competences in front of your eyes - it would be easier for you to evaluate them.

Keep in mind that learning is a process. According to Kolb's cycle of learning we can divide it into four simple steps: learning theory --> having some practise  --> collecting experience --> evaluating and reflecting and the circle repeats over and over again. That's why we offered you competences what can help you to set some (personal or group) goals, next - materials to get some knowledge, then GIRA to take an action and make a change and finally Compass (fro groups) and this tool (for individuals) to evaluate your progress. And then after some reflection you can acknowledge more, do better, how to act more responsibly etc. so you go back to Competences to set some new goals and focus on different topic this time.

Important note: when we talk about an issue, for example about inequalities in gender we mean on many geographical levels - in your closest environment, local area, regional, country, continent and finally around the world and historical levels - past, present, future. Keep it in mind because issues differs worldwide and we want to encourage you to have a possible full view on them.

Here are some questions which, as we believe, will help you. We divided some of them into three parts: I see, I understand, my role to stress all three aspects. If you want to change or add more questions, don't follow division, or something else, just do it. It's your personal story. Good luck!
